Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

ShipForge is an independent product operated by Nei Cescon (Massachusetts, USA). You can reach us at hello@shipforgeai.dev.

2. What we collect

  • Contact and support: the email you enter in a contact, support, or waitlist form, plus the name and message you optionally provide.
  • Waitlist: your email, the plan you selected, any note you added, and the IP/user-agent of the request (for abuse control).
  • Free tools (Launch Score, Monetization Calculator): your answers and calculator inputs stay in your browser. We may receive anonymous completion events (such as a score band), but not your individual answers. We receive your email only if you separately submit a form that asks for it.
  • Product analytics (when enabled): anonymous, aggregate events via PostHog. We do not sell this data.
  • Error monitoring (when enabled): exception stack traces via Sentry. Email addresses are only attached when needed to reproduce an issue.
  • Payments (when enabled): processed by Lemon Squeezy. We never see your card. We receive the order and customer metadata needed to grant your license.

3. How we use it

  • To respond to your inquiry and, if you joined the waitlist, to email you when your plan opens.
  • To provision and audit product entitlements after a paid order.
  • To keep the product working (monitoring, rate-limiting, spam control).
  • To improve the product through aggregated, anonymous analytics.

4. Secrets and API keys

We do not put AI or paid-service API keys in client-side code. Payment and entitlement state are always verified server-side.

5. Data retention

Waitlist and lead emails: kept until you ask us to delete them. Support requests: kept for 24 months. Order/entitlement records: kept for the retention period required by tax and consumer law (typically 6–7 years). Anonymous analytics: rolling 12 months.

6. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can request an export. Email hello@shipforgeai.dev from the address associated with your account. Under GDPR / UK GDPR, you also have the right to object, to restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Under the CCPA/CPRA, you have the right to know, to delete, to correct, to opt out of sale (we do not sell), and to non-discrimination.

7. Children

ShipForge is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

8. International transfers

Our infrastructure runs on services hosted in the United States (Vercel, Supabase us-east, Resend, PostHog US). If you access ShipForge from outside the US, your data is transferred to the US under standard safeguards offered by those providers.

10. Third parties

ShipForge uses Vercel (hosting) and may use configured services including Supabase (database/auth), Resend (transactional email), Lemon Squeezy (payments and tax), PostHog (product analytics), and Sentry (error monitoring). Not every provider or related product capability is active during Founding Beta. When a provider processes data, it does so under its own policy.
